American Made Sound now offers live 24-track digital recording of your wedding, concert, or other event.
Each instrument, vocal, etc. -- everything that happens on stage -- is recorded onto its own discreet track on a state of the art 24-track hard disk recorder, in full 24-bit 48 kHz (considerably better than CD) quality. The tracks are recorded in such a way that the sound of each track is completely clean and unprocessed, independent of the live mix in the room at your event. This is important because at your event, we will mix the band to sound its best in that room at that moment -- which does not always translate to a good-sounding recording, due to the nature of live music, the acoustics of the room, and other factors.) Many production companies can give you a "board mix," which is simply a feed off their board's main outputs to the speakers. But if you've ever heard a board mix, you'll know that it sounds nothing like a live band or studio recording. It may be severely unbalanced; some instruments or vocals will be very loud, others will be very quiet or not present at all, and often it isn't at all pleasant to listen to. We are capable of producing a finished mix of your event and band's performance with a level of quality that is simply impossible to achieve using any other recording method. Now, American Made Sound can provide you with a live recording of your event that you will swear was recorded and produced in a world-class recording studio.
After your event, your tracks are transferred to our Windows Vista Quad Core computer and professionally mixed by our engineers using state of the art mixing software. In no time, we can deliver to you a finished audio CD (or CDs) of your event, including the band's entire performance, or, if you prefer, a selection of clips for a demo CD. If you want to mix the tracks yourself or prefer to have them mixed by another studio, we can easily transfer the wav file tracks to your portable HD for your convenience.

Weddings
Your wedding day is the most wonderful and important day of your life, a once-in-a-lifetime, magical event that you will remember forever. Chances are, you're hiring a videographer (at great expense) to video your event. If you've hired a good one, you'll have a beautiful, high quality visual record of your special day on DVD to cherish forever, to show your friends, family, children, and grandchildren.
But what about the sound on your wedding DVD? If you've hired a band for your wedding, clearly the entertainment is important to you, and you know how much the band cost. Videographers, no matter how great they are at filming and editing video, are not sound engineers. Even the best videographers capture the sound of the band at your wedding by simply placing a microphone in front of the band's speakers -- a very poor recording method.
If you're fortunate enough to have hired a band that brings American Made Sound with them to your wedding, you can now have an audio record of your event and band's performance that equals the quality of your very expensive wedding video (but for far less than the cost of your videographer's services). In fact, we recommend that you deliver a copy of your finished American Made Sound audio CD to your videographer and ask him or her to dub the CD sound onto any video clips that include the band (or your speeches, toasts, etc.). The result will be a DVD video of your wedding with incredible audio quality that perfectly matches the excellent video quality.
Bands, Concerts
Contact us to ask about our special packages for bands & other musical groups. We can do production for your live show and add on a 24-track live recording for a reasonable additional charge. (We are capable of doing live recordings even if you are using a different production company for your live show, but the cost will be greater and will require us to contact your live production company in advance to make special arrangements. Additional costs and/or equipment rentals may be involved. Of course we recommend using American Made Sound for your live sound as well.) Record your studio-quality live album or demo with American Made Sound, capturing the energy of your live show -- in less time and for less money than a studio recording.
